Delaware Man Charged With DUI After Crashing In Taco Bell

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (CBS) – Police say a man has been charged with DUI after crashing into a Delaware Taco Bell.

The incident occurred just before 11:45 p.m. Saturday night at the Taco Bell, located at 19010 Costal Highway in Rehoboth Beach.

Police say 60-year-old Gregory Pflug, of Rehoboth Beach, drove his 2011 Honda Pilot into a corner of the building after going through the drive-thru.

Allegedly, Pflug then fled the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended by police.

No injuries have been reported.

Pflug was cited with driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage crash and other offenses.

Inspectors found the Taco Bell to be unsafe for occupancy.
