Search For Vehicle, Owner In Hit-Run Accident Involving Officer

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police say an off-duty officer is recovering in the hospital after a hit and run in West Philadelphia early Saturday morning.
Authorities say the officer was headed home on Farragut near 46th Street when a car smashed the front of his pick up truck just before 5 a.m.
Police describe the hit and run vehicle as a dark gray Mercury Marquis with heavy front end damage. If you have any information, contact police.
