Caught On Video: 2 Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Police, Hitting Officers With Vase

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say two people have been arrested after assaulting bike officers and hitting one with a vase.

The incident occurred around 2:35 p.m. on the 3400 block of H Street in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

The ordeal was caught on cell phone video.

According to police, a 21-year-old male became unruly and began hitting bike officers that were conducting a pedestrian investigation.

Allegedly, a female exited a nearby home and hit the officers with a vase.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with assault on police.

The officers suffered minor injuries.
