PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and Outta SITE - SkyScanner app.

The best airline deals aren't always found through the usual suspects. Skyscanner is an app that finds you both the cheapest places and dates to fly – checking over 1,000 airlines.

As you might guess, you can also buy tickets directly from the airlines or travel agents – again, whichever proves cheaper. It's an especially handy tool for people who want to search rates while they're on the go.
