WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police are searching for a female suspect that robbed a 67-year-old woman.

The incident occurred on Wednesday around 12:50 p.m. on Scarborough Park Drive in the Millcreek Village Apartments in Wilmington, Delaware.

According to police, the victim opened her front door after hearing someone knocking. The suspect allegedly entered the victim’s apartment immediately after the door was opened, appeared to have a sharp object and demanded the victim’s property.

Police say the victim was able to leave her apartment and go to a neighbor’s residence where she called police.

Authorities report that the suspect, described as a Hispanic female, was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants and fled in a red pick-up truck with Delaware registration and two occupants.
