PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Breweries from all over Pennsylvania and beer enthusiast from near and far gathered at the Horner Memorial Library for Bierfest.
The German Society of Pennsylvania is hosting their second annual Bierfest.
While here, participants can sample Dozens of German style Pennsylvania beers and their not shy about giving their favorites.
“The Round Guys Berlinerviest and Neshanimy Creek makes a good beer,” said one attendee.
“Stouts Caramel Mulch, it’s nice, it’s light, it’s clean and it’s super easy to drink,” said another.
Although beer is the main attraction, it’s not the only thing offered.
There’s a panel on lager-love and the resurgence of session beers and there’s live music on hand.
Of course, there are some traditional German finger foods ranging from Sauerkraut balls to pretzel bites.
