Report: Asomugha Must Restructure Deal Or Be Released

By Spike Eskin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Nnamdi Asomugha must restructure his contract, or be released by the Eagles, ESPN is reporting.

Asomugha's current contract calls for the cornerback to earn $15 million dollars ($4 million guaranteed) next season for the Eagles.

Asomugha's performance hasn't even been close to what the Eagles expected when they signed him to a five year, $60 million contract prior to the 2011 season.
