Caught On Tape: Suspect Punches Man Before Robbing Him At Wilmington Restaurant

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police are reaching out to the public for help identifying a suspect who robbed a restaurant in Wilmington.

On Feb. 2nd around 9:46 p.m., officers responded to the Jade Palace restaurant on the 1300 block of Lancaster Avenue after reports of a robbery.

Surveillance video shot at the scene shows the victim was placing his order when the suspect approaches him from behind and punches him in the head. The victim then drops his money and falls to the floor.

The suspect then recovered the money and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male with a possible beard who was wearing all black clothing. He is about 5'6" to 5'8".
