Body Found In Delaware's Leipsic River

LEIPSIC, Del. (CBS) – Police say a body was found in the area of the Leipsic River Bridge in Delaware on Tuesday.

State Troopers were dispatched to the area after a witness who was trapping in the area found the body of a male submerged beneath the bridge.

The body has been turned over to the State Medical Examiner's Office and transported to Wilmington for identification. Officials say the man appears between the ages of 40 and 45 years old.

An investigation is ongoing.
