PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Phillies outfielder Delmon Young will start the season on the disabled list, 94WIP’s Howard Eskin reports.
Young underwent ankle injury in Novemeber to remove bone spurs and repair cartilage. Eskin reports that Young could be out for “weeks into the season.”
Young, 27 years-old, signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Phillies in January.
