PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If you’re a single guy living in Philadelphia, you might be happy to hear this: Philadelphia ranks fourth in a new round-up of the best cities for unattached men.

The list, which was compiled by NerdWallet, focused on three factors when ranking cities tops for singles: the ease of meeting new people, the ratio of unmarried men to unmarried women and the cost of dating.

While Boston came in first for single men, Philadelphia was ranked an impressive number four. Citing our area’s “rich arts culture,” the article also mentions that the cost of living is moderate and there are more unmarried women than men in Philadelphia.

The other cities that came in ahead of Philly are Washington, D.C. (3) and Baltimore (2).

Sadly, the stats aren’t so good for single ladies: Philadelphia didn’t even crack the top five on that list.
