PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Instagram, the Facebook-owned photo sharing app, has launched a real website for its 90 million active monthly users.
You can now browse your Instagram feed on the web just like you do on your mobile device. Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom made the announcement in a blog post yesterday.
Instagram members can now log into Instagram.com to view a stream of friends’ photos in a photo feed that closely mirrors the experience of Instagram’s mobile feed.
As of right now, website users cannot upload photos to Instagram.com, which means the photo-sharing piece of the Instagram equation remains mobile-only.
Instagram launched in 2010 and has more than 100 million registered users.
