PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - There is a unique flea market at 9th and Spring Garden Streets that attracts buyers from all over the area.
Coordinator for the Spring Garden Indoor Antique and Vintage Flea Market Tony Soprano says high end items are a big draw.
“We carry just antique and vintage merchandise only. We don’t allow any new merchandise, handmade merchandise garage sale or flea market or bric a brac merchandise that you’d find at flea markets around town.”
The furniture sold is perfect for city dwellers with smaller homes, but it’s something else that draws flocks of admirers.
“Vintage clothing and accessories are really big. Hats…we also have a dressing room we’ve installed.”
The flea markets are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. held on the first and third Saturday of every month, November from March. in February the market will be on the 9th and 16th. Credit cards are accepted.
