Police Searching For Suspect In Connection With Bank Robbery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are reaching out to the public for help finding a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery.

On Thursday around 2:30 p.m., a male suspect entered the Citizens Bank branch at 6324 Stenton Avenue in Philadelphia and handed the teller a note demanding money.

After obtaining an unknown amount of cash, the man fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s with a thick build and a short beard. He's about 6'2" tall and was wearing a tan jacket, blue jeans and a tan winter hat with colored stripes on the trim.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.

Police say there may be a reward for information leading to this subject's capture.
