Child Shot In The Face In Camden

CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) – A child was reportedly injured in a shooting in Camden on Thursday night.

The shooting happened on the 1300 block of Thurman Street just before 10:15 p.m.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed an 11-year-old was shot in the face during the incident, but there is no word on the victim’s condition at this time, but authorities say, “she is alive and this is not a homicide.”

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not clear at this point.
