PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The weather is particularly Arctic-esque, so a Philadelphia seafood restaurant is bringing on the soup.
On Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., the Oyster House (1516 Sansom St) is offering a piping hot bowl of their pre-packaged New England clam chowder – along with a spoon and a bag of oyster crackers – for just $5.
And the deal isn’t being offered just because of the frigid temps: January 23rd is actually National New England Clam Chowder Day.
