Burst Of Snow Leads To Numerous Accidents On Area Roadways
By Dan Wing, Steve Beck
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The snow moved out of the area quickly Monday night, but the dropping temperatures created some dangerously slick conditions on local roadways Monday night.
There were numerous accidents in the area, including a jack-knifed tractor-trailer on Southbound I-95 near the Broad Street Exit.
Another accident temporarily closed down the Northbound lanes of the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge.
In addition, icy conditions snarled traffic on both the Walt Whitman and Betsy Ross Bridges.
