PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies agreed to a one-year deal with left-handed reliever Antonio Bastardo worth $1.4 million. Bastardo was eligible for salary arbitration.
In 65 games for Philadelphia last season, Bastardo posted a 2-5 record with one save, a 4.33 ERA and 81 strikeouts in 52.0 innings.
The Phillies have now come to terms with all arbitration-eligible players for this season.
