Bucks County Woman Arrested After Allegedly Biting Police Officer

EAST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- An allegedly unruly and intoxicated woman was arrested after crashing her car and biting a police officer in Bucks County.

On Dec. 31, the Pennridge Regional Police Department responded to reports of a one vehicle accident at Park Avenue and Old Bethlehem Pike in East Rockhill Township.

When they arrived on the scene, they saw a woman, identified as 33-year-old Lindsey Lee Fluck from Perkasie, walking away from the accident. Police say Fluck appeared intoxicated.

Police say that when they questioned Fluck about the accident, she became combative, first ripping the badge from one officer's shirt and then swinging at another. When officers attempted to arrest her, she began fighting and bit one police officer in the forearm.

Police were eventually able to place Fluck under control and put her in the police vehicle, where she began slamming her head against the driver side window.

Fluck was charged with Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest and DUI after being given a blood-alcohol test at GrandView Hospital. She is currently being held at Bucks County Correctional Center.
