PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police stopped a car early Sunday near 63rd and Oxford Streets in West Philadelphia’s Overbrook section.
The search wound-up being investigated for unknown reasons by the FBI & Office of Homeland Security officials.
When the car was stopped, officers smelled the odor of marijuana and asked the driver to exit his car. Upon closer examination of the vehicle, the driver was taken into custody and for undisclosed reasons, the car was turned over to the FBI.
Police did not disclose what was found, but they note that no charges have been filed. The driver however remains in custody.
