PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a man is in critical condition after he was shot four times outside a retail store Sunday night in South Philadelphia.
According to police, the shooting happened outside the Walgreens located at 24th and Oregon Avenue just before 8:30 p.m.
The 46-year-old-man was reportedly shot once in the head and three times in his arm. His 5-year-old son was inside the car and witnessed the shooting.
The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
The shooter left the scene in what was described as a dark-colored car with possibly a PA or NY license plate. No arrests have been made.
Police are reviewing surveillance video at the Walgreens. The shooting remains under investigation.
