PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - We are getting into the teeth of the holiday season which means that we are heading into those final days of shopping and preparation for family gatherings and travel for those hitting the road. Put all of this together and combine it with the economy and there is little chance to not feel the stress.
Perhaps the best way to deal with the stress is to understand that it is going to happen and to try and do things to minimize it.
Are there things that you love to do that you have not been able to do recently? Perhaps it is reading a good novel or playing your favorite sport. This is the best time to do this.
I know. You might be saying…’Don’t be ridiculous. I am strapped for time now and you are asking me to relax and take time off??’
That is the entire point. Get away. Take that break. Only a couple of hours will really help.
