PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Christmas Village of Philadelphia had a moment of silence to remember the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.
During the Make-A-Wish fundraiser at Christmas Village Saturday an announcement was made from the main stage, located next to the LOVE statue, for all visitors to bow their heads in remembrance of the tragic incident.
The moment of silence was followed by a performance by Olivia Andrisani, a Newtown Square teenager who sings carols with her sisters to raise funds for Make-A-Wish in Philadelphia and Susquehanna Valley.
