PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have agreed in principle to a five-year contract with free-agent outfielder Josh Hamilton, CBS Sports reports.

The Angels weren’t mentioned in many rumors involving Hamilton as of late, with the Phillies, Mariners, Rangers and Yankees stealing most of those headlines.

Once again it was the mystery team that landed the big free-agent, this time though, it wasn’t the Phillies.
