PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (CBS) — Two teenagers are dead after a shooting late Wednesday night in Pleasantville, New Jersey.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s office says the shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the area of 10-Woodland Avenue.
Pleasantville Police responded to a 911 call and found a 13-year-old boy in front of the home. Authorities also found a 19-year-old man in an alley at the rear of the property. Both victims had been shot multiple times.
The victims were rushed to the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, where both were pronounced dead a short time later.
The Prosecutor’s office and the police are asking for the public’s help in the investigation. Anyone who has information on the shooting is urged to call the Major Crimes Unit at 609-909-7666.
