PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police have released surveillance video that shows two robbery suspects punching, kicking, and tasering a clerk at a Queen Village convenience store last week.
It happened about 9:30pm last Tuesday, when three unknown men armed with a shotgun and a Taser burst into the Queen Village Mini Market on Christian Street and announced a robbery.
Police say two of the suspects punched and kicked the clerk in the face and body, hit him with the gun, then tasered him.
Authorities say the thieves took $3,000 and fled south on South Third Street.
Police have arrested one suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying and tracking down the other two.
Anyone with information is asked to call 215-686-TIPS (-8477).
