PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If you or one of your children plan on attending Temple University next fall, you may want to check out a scholarship program now being offered.
Temple University wants to reward potential freshmen who get good grades and received pretty good SAT scores. The university is offering scholarships if you meet the criteria.
“It’s a freshmen academic scholarship program that recognizes students who have strong GPAs as well as strong test scores. It’s different from our previous program in that it offers more levels and increased scholarship amount,” says Karin Mormando, director of undergraduate admissions.
The scholarships range from $3,000 to full tuition. Mormando says students with a 3.0 grade point average and 1150 or better on the SATs are qualified.
And the program includes stipends for summer study.
