    11-Year-Old Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In New Castle County

    NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS) - An 11-year-old was rushed to the hospital after she was struck by a car in New Castle County Thursday evening.

    It happened in the 300 block of Basin Road in New Castle.

    The child was transported to A.I. duPont Hospital For Children where she was treated for an injury to her arm and possible internal injuries.

    She is listed in serious condition.
