PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Officials say Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is the largest jackpot since August 15, 2012.

The Powerball jackpot has soared to $325 million, or a cash prize of $212.8 million for Saturday’s drawing.

Since October 6th, there have been 14 consecutive draws with no jackpot winner, says lottery officials.

Pennsylvania lottery officials are suggesting that players buy their tickets early to avoid the rush.
