Philadelphia Shoppers Among The Country's Most 'Mobile Savvy'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Using apps to help you shop this holiday season? You're not alone.
Philadelphia has been ranked among the top U.S. cities for mobile savvy shoppers.
The rankings from the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) were released on Tuesday. Philadelphia came in at #10, just behind Boston and ahead of Washington, DC.
The survey, which involves data from 20,000 consumers and was conducted in June 2012, also shows that the number of consumers turning to smartphones and mobile devices for holiday shopping has nearly doubled since 2011.
Houston ranked at #1 for the second year in a row.
