Beer Enthusiasts Enjoy Some Unusual Brews During Festival In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The inaugural PA Beer Festival was held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Saturday.
About 2,500 people attended the first three-hour tasting session in the afternoon (the second one was held at night), each armed with a one ounce mini beer mug.
"We have 260 craft beers that people can sample today," organizer Patrick Brown said. "Obviously, it'll be impossible to do them all. You can get around and try quite a few of those, and hopefully, find a new beer that you love."
Brown says with so many beers to try, the mugs had to be modestly sized.
Early into the first session, some favorites had emerged, including Founders Breakfast Stout, which is a combination of coffee and chocolate and Billy's Chilies, which is a peppered flavored beer.
Other interesting selections included Whale's Tale, Moo Thunder, Snapperhead, and Hoptical Illusion, to name a few.
