TRENTON, NJ (CBS) – Ventnor residents and business proprietors are now being permitted to return to the city to check on their properties with proper identification.
Contractors and insurance adjusters will be restricted from entering the city until 6 a.m. on Saturday, November 3. At the request of the Ventnor police chief, a curfew will remain in place Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Law enforcement officers will also be posted at the following checkpoints:
- Jackson and Atlantic
- Fredricksburg and Atlantic
- Wellington and West End Avenue
The mandatory curfew has been lifted for Brigantine, Atlantic City, Margate and Longport after conferring with their respective chiefs of police.
All access roadways to the barrier island communities are open to motorists with the exception of the Longport Boulevard.
