Threatening Note Found Inside Camden County School Prompts Evacuation

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) - Authorities are investigating a threatening note they say was found inside a Camden County school Tuesday afternoon.

At about 1:15 p.m., officers were called out to the J.W. Lilley School on the 1200 block of Williamstown Road in Gloucester Township for a report of a note found inside the building that indicated the school would blow up.

As a precaution, the school was evacuated until authorities were able to conduct a search of the building.

The search did not turn up any explosives.

After about an hour, students and faculty were permitted to reenter the school.

The incident remains under investigation.
