LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) – Authorities have confirmed a Tornado touched down in Paradise Township Friday night.
The EF1 tornado struck around 8.pm.
Authorities say the tornado’s 110 m.p.h. winds damaged 50 structures, including a pavilion that collapsed, injuring 15 people, several of which were children (see related story).
The tornado also destroyed several barns and nearly 3,000 trees were knocked down in the process.
The damages were estimated at $3-5 million.
