POLICE: 2 Beaten, Robbed In Kensington Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating a home invasion that took place above a store in the Kensington section of the city early Saturday morning.
According to police, around 4:44 a.m. two armed males entered the store located at 761 East Allegheny Avenue through a back window, made their way to the second floor apartment and beat two people.
Police say a 35-year-old woman was beaten in the head with a gun and a 41-year-old man was beaten and shot once in the left shoulder.
Both victims were taken to Temple University Hospital and placed in stable condition.
The suspects made off with $8,000.
No arrests have been made.
