Temple University

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Temple University Health System has opened a facility in Elkins Park that is just for women.
The Women’s Care facility is directed at patients caring for families, working and trying to fit in all their own doctor’s appointments.
Medical Director, Dr. Rosalind Kaplan says women end up running all over to get the care they need.
“We see a primary care doctor, our primary care doctor may refer us to a medical specialist, see a gynecologist; we go to a hospital to get tests done such as mammogram and bone densities. What we are trying to do is create a place where women can come and get most of these services under one roof,” Dr. Kaplan explains.
