PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — It will be a key game for the Eagles on Sunday night as they host the New York Giants in an NFC East tilt.
It will also be a very special night for one of the greatest Eagles ever.
#20 Brian Dawkins will one day be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, but on Sunday, he will be recognized by the team he spent most of his All-Pro career with as his number is retired.
The entire night will be a celebration of Dawkins’ career, culminating with Dawkins addressing the crowd at halftime.
KYW’s Matt Leon spoke with Dave Spadaro of PhiladelphiaEagles.com about Dawkins and what Sunday’s celebration entails.
