CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (CBS) – A puppy stolen from a Conshohocken pet store has been returned.

Police were searching for two suspects who stole the puppy from the Playful Pets store on West Ridge Pike on Tuesday.

Despite warnings posted throughout the store that your every move is being caught on surveillance video, the two thieves took the puppy without hesitation. Investigators say the female suspect distracted the clerk, while the male stuffed the Maltese and Yorkie mix inside his sweatshirt.

Luckily, the numerous cameras located inside the store gave police a clear view of the stealthy puppy bandits (see previous story), and on Friday, officials say a suspect placed a bag with the stolen dog in it on the store’s counter and then fled the scene.
