CHADDS FORD, Pa. (CBS) - Police are investigating a home invasion in Chadds Ford Monday night.
Police say three men, two of whom were wearing masks, forced their way into a home near Hillendale and Hickory Hill roads a little after 7 p.m.
According to investigators, 63-year-old Fred Barakat, who lives at the home, was shot during a struggle with the intruders. He was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in unknown condition.
Police say the suspect vehicle is described as a white or cream Mitsubishi Diamante. As of 10 p.m., no arrests have been made.
No further details were released.
The investigation is ongoing.
