SINKING SPRING, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a man has been found shot to death on a popular bicycling path in eastern Pennsylvania.

Police in Berks County say another rider found the body along the Thun Trail in Cumru Township just before 7 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators say the victim, who has not been identified, had been shot several times.

Officials said the body was found on the trail right next to Route 724.

Police chief Jed Habecker told WFMZ-TV that investigators don’t know exactly where the shooting took place.
