WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — State police are looking for a man who robbed two people at gunpoint at a Wilmington shopping center.
Police say both victims were in the rear of the Canby Park Shopping Center when they were confronted Saturday night. The first was an 18-year-old man who was walking down an unlit exterior access stairway. Police say he was confronted by a young man with a handgun who demanded money and property. The gunman fled with cash.
About 10 minutes later, police say the gunman confronted a 50-year-old man who was walking in a rear driveway. Police say the gunman rifled through the victim’s pockets but couldn’t find any cash or property and fled.
