PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today’s APP-tastic and Outta SITE – CrimePush.

Dialing 911 is still the best solution when you need help, but if you find yourself in a situation where you can’t openly do that, CrimePush could be your best friend.

The app lets you call for help in a variety of ways – from sending GPS tagged messages to emergency contacts, to making an emergency call by simply shaking your phone.

You can also report a crime quickly, even including pictures of the scene from your phone.
