Pedestrian Severely Injured After Being Struck By Car In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car on Sunday night.

The 25-year-old man was struck by the vehicle around 10:20 p.m. on Sunday at East Thompson & East Dauphin Streets.

The man was reportedly pinned under another vehicle after being hit by the car. He was removed and then transferred to Hahnemann University Hospital with massive trauma to his head and shoulders.

There is no word on his condition.
