WILDWOOD, NJ (CBS) – State police have confirmed that a body has been found off the coast of North Wildwood.

The body was found on Sunday, Sept. 2 around 11 a.m. and was taken to the Cape May County Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.

Police would not say whether or not the body was that of a missing Middle Township police officer.

Jason Sill, 39, has been missing since Monday, Aug. 27 when his unmanned boat was found floating a mile off the coast of Wildwood.
