PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A Philadelphia police officer was injured Tuesday night while chasing a robbery suspect in Logan.
At about 10 p.m. authorities say officers chased the suspect into the Wyoming Station after an alleged robbery at a Rite Aid nearby.
The suspect escaped down the Broad Street Line and at some point during the chase, an officer was injured. He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
SEPTA trains were shut down for about 30 minutes between Wyoming and Hunting Park as officers searched the tracks.
As of 10 p.m. authorities are still searching for the suspect.
