PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia non-profit group needs your help today and all you need is your computer.
This is Day 86 of Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good contest and Philadelphia’s iPraxis is in an online winner-take-all election with four other groups. The prize: a brand new vehicle.
IPraxis spokeswoman Zofia Wleklinski says helping them win is pretty simple, “They need to go to http://www.1100carsforgood.com and that takes you to the Facebook app and then there’s the five organizations that are there and you can watch the submission videos and read about why they need the car and what they would do with them, and then you simply click on the organization you would like, which is iPraxis, and your vote is counted.”
IPraxis, which provides tutors and mentors in the sciences for Philadelphia students, is going for a minivan, because many of its volunteers don’t own cars, and student projects don’t drive themselves to science fairs.
