PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Authorities are investigating a shooting in Southwest Philadelphia Friday night.

It happened in the 1800 block of South Yewdall Street in the Kingsessing section of the city a little before 5 p.m.
Police say the 24-year-old man was shot multiple times in the back, stomach and right elbow.

He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead at 5:24, according to authorities.

There is no word on a motive or suspect.
