BLOG: Chick-fil-A & Starbucks Free Stuff Today

By Jim Donovan: Chick-fil-A and Starbucks are offering free stuff today, Friday, July 13.

Chick-fil-A is celebrating what they're calling "Cow Appreciation Day" today. While it's not a national holiday and we don't get off from work, to celebrate the "event" Chick-Fil-A is awarding free meals (lunch or dinner) to customers who come into one of Chick-fil-A's participating restaurants dressed like a cow. If you wear a partial costume, they'll give you a free entree.

If you're in a tizzy and don't know what to wear, don't have a "cow." Chick-fil-A has posted a Cow Starter Kit on their website to help you easily create your own cow costume. Here is the link:

If dressing up like a cow isn't your thing, well then Starbucks is giving away free 12 ounce samples of its new low-calorie drinks that they've named "Refreshers". The drinks are made with real ingredients like whole blackberries, lime slices and fruit juice, and are combined with Green Coffee Extract for a thirst-quenching boost of natural energy.

There is no purchase necessary to redeem this FREE product. Offer runs from noon to 3:00pm at participating Starbucks locations.
