ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania say the body of slain woman has been found in a wooded area off a major highway.
The Lehigh County coroner says 20-year-old Kimberly Cardona of Whitehall Township died of blunt and sharp force trauma. The coroner ruled the death a homicide on Friday after an autopsy.
Cardona’s body was found Thursday evening by a man walking his dog in Salisbury Township. The corpse was in a wooded area below Interstate 78, just south of Allentown.
Coroner Scott Grim says Cardona was killed sometime after Wednesday evening.
