BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. – Hilltown Township Police are looking for a man accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend on the 500 block of Keystone Drive in Bucks County.

Police say 32-year-old James Anton, whose last known address was in Telford, Pa., was hiding outside her house for days.

After investigating the scene, police say they found food, clothing, binoculars and a journal at his camp site.

“It’s rare that we find somebody that’s tracking somebody like this with a journal and with binoculars and camp nearby the residence,” Hilltown Township Police Chief Christopher Engelhart said.

Police say the journal detailed Anton’s intentions with his ex- girlfriend, some of which were allegedly violent.

The camp was reportedly found in the woods near Keystone Drive, just off Bethlehem Pike, which came as disturbing news to neighbors.

“I think it’s very strange, especially if he is camping out somewhere in our vicinity. That’s just scary,” neighbor Beverly Slifer said.

Police say by the victim and her neighbor spotted Anton hiding in the woods.

Felony arrest warrants have been issued for Anton for stalking, harassment and terroristic threats.

“He was tracking his victim with the binoculars and keeping track and notes of what he was doing,” Chief Engelhart said.

Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is being asked to contact police at 215-453-6011 or callers can leave a message on the Anonymous Tip Line at 267-517-9119.
